Waiting for my Air Taxi

I love reading Jon Udell's pieces. He is an intelligent, and thoughtful, writer who always makes me think. A lot of his work focuses on quite sophisticated issues around software and integrating it into services. However, he has such breadth of vision that he is able to see interesting connections in every aspect of life.

Today he was writing about the potential impact of air taxis, on transport and commuter patterns. My initial reaction was "oh no, more pollution", but once I had got my judgement under control - remember the story in the Globe and Mail about Hummers being better than Priuses - then I started to explore the idea.
