The worst application ever?

This post follows up on my comments about teenagers not using email much. The guys over at Techcrunch have got rather upset about a 3d interface to your email. You can read their comments and see a video of the product here. I don't know if I really want to have 3d sharks eat my spam, I tend to have to deal with my email quite quickly. However, I also think that MySpace is a design nightmare, but that didn't stop millions of people from signing up and enjoying the place. 3d email may or may not be a good idea. However, it is a great opportunity for us to practice deferring our judgement.
