Apparently, only old foggies use Email

Cnet News have filed an interesting article about teenage entrepreneurs' use of email. Apparently, email is 'totally last century', except for business transactions. The real communication takes place in Facebook, and, increasingly via text messaging. The use of text messaging will come as no surprise to European readers, but for North Americans this is quite a change. I have a Facebook account, and I am now filled with a sense of dread because I really don't get it. I am sure it must be that I am not hanging with the cool kids, but at the moment I just find the service an annoying distraction. However, if the youth of today become the business people of tomorrow, and if they keep their communication habits, I may well have to learn a totally new way of working, just to keep in touch with them.
