As any of you who have visited Second Life will know, the difference between real and virtual is still vast. The scenery is blocky, movement can be painful, and it's clear that you are stuck within a rather crude computer game.
However, the technology is also improving in leaps and bounds, and it will soon be good enough to real give a sense of being in the place. I think this gives us a fantastic opportunity to start building virtual spaces which support and encourage creative thinking. We can start now and simply take advantage of the technology as it improves.
So, the key question we need to answer is "if you could build your ideal creative space, what would it look like?"
