The future is here (in South Dakota), it just isn't evenly distributed

Kathleen Gilroy, of the Otter Group, is blogging about a road trip she, and her family, are taking to Montana.

She is writing about how useful her mobile internet access is, and contrasting that with the last time she made the drive.

What I find so fascinating is the way in which this trip gives me a glimpse of the future - perhaps 2-3 years out - a future in which many people are operating in this very matter-of-fact way.
